ABOUT
Chad is a YouTuber and Japanese Translator living between Fukuoka, Japan and Denver, Colorado. He picked up his first rod nearly two decades ago and hasn't sat it down since. Growing up on the Colorado River, it was a natural transition to fishing the high mountain streams of Japan. Chad, living and working in Japan handles all the translations and importing for Zimkara Rod Company, and hopes to share his passion far beyond the land of the rising sun.

Steve is a master fly fisherman, and has been fly fishing since he was 7 years old. He first turned Chad, his son, on to learning Tenkara styled fly fishing, prior to Chad's first study abroad in Japan. Steve has taken his life long passion of teaching fly fishing in a new direction with Tenkara. He uses his knowledge, and hands on research in determining the products we've chosen to import. A life long entrepreneur, Steve handles the business end of the Zimkara Rod Company, and has laid down it's path since its inception.
